Trust and transparency

Editorial Policy

Royal Hotel Guide publishes source-backed accommodation and destination guidance. An organizational byline does not mean that an unnamed editor personally stayed at every property.

Selection standards

Indexable property pages must have a verified identity and location, authorized images, sufficient decision-useful detail, and an approved editorial review. Boutique and luxury labels require supporting property information; generic amenities or star ratings are not used to infer claims such as Michelin recognition or butler service.

Sources and review

We use official hotel information, accommodation partners, tourism organizations, and other attributable sources. Published guides identify sources and a review date when those records are available. Material edits invalidate an earlier approval until the changed content is reviewed again.

AI-assisted drafts

Automation may help organize research or prepare a draft. It cannot approve or publish an article. A human reviewer must check entities, claims, links, sources, images, and destination fit before publication. Placeholder recommendations and unsupported personal-experience claims are prohibited.

Affiliate disclosure

Royal Hotel Guide may receive a commission when a reader follows a partner link and books. This does not change the price paid by the reader. Commercial relationships do not bypass the same eligibility and review rules applied to other properties.

Corrections and updates

Hotel facts and travel conditions change. We show meaningful update dates, remove pages that can no longer be supported, and correct material errors. Send correction requests with a supporting source to hello@royalhotelguide.com.
