Activities organised by the hotel include, hiking, cycling, walking, woodcock shooting and Lobster experience in the summer.This 4-star luxury castle hotel overlooks its impressive salmon fishery on the large private estate. River and lakeside walks may reveal the local wildlife on the estate. The hotel has a walled garden. Some rooms have striking views over the river, mountains and woodland. 24-hour room service is available. Facilities include a TV in some of the rooms. We no longer offer woodcock shooting, and we now have a woodland sauna.

Located in the river wing, this spacious Luxury Room has panoramic views of the river and woodland, many with four-poster beds. All luxury rooms have a dressing room, a bathroom with walk-in shower, bathtub with overhead shower and twin washbasins. Includes stunning views from the seating area, a flat-screen TV and an iPod docking station.

The Classic Rooms are situated in the original house and are all decorated to a very high standard. Each room is individually furnished with differing sizes and aspects; these character rooms are full of character. Please specify twin or double room whilst booking.
