With a beautiful setting on the River Suir, the luxurious Waterford Castle Hotel and Golf Resort is on a private island completely detached from the mainland. The castle boasts elegant rooms and suites with stunning views. These individually designed rooms offer also offer free WiFi, goose-down quilts. Contemporary lodges are also available and include three and four-bedroom semi detached properties with a spacious open-plan kitchen/dining area and adjoining living room. Access to the island is by a private car ferry which operates throughout the day. "Complimentary ferry crossing takes 3 minutes and does not need to be reserved in advance, it departs every 15 minutes. Drive up the beech-lined drive to reach the castle and its 800 years of history. Local activities include golfing on an 18-hole course, clay-target shooting, a driving range, tennis and croquet. There are also several nature trails and walking paths to explore.

Each of the six Classic rooms are individually designed, offering a truly unique experience with each visit. The Deluxe Rooms offer more space and grandeur than our Standard Classic rooms. Located within the 16th Century Castle, the rooms combine graceful antique furnishings with modern comforts including coffee machine, goose-down quilts, crisp cotton sheets, soft robes and complimentary WiFi.
Deluxe Suite
The Deluxe Suites are the most luxurious of the Castle rooms, each with a spacious bedroom, adjoining sitting room and ensuite bathroom. The Suite’s seamlessly combine modern comfort with old world décor, including coffee machine, goose-down quilts, crisp cotton sheets, soft robes and complimentary WiFi. The separate sitting room offers a second flat-screen television, comfortable sofa and desk.
